COLLEGE RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE

Our relationships with university faculty, career centers, administration, organizations and students are a key component to our success on campus. The College Relations Representative will help strengthen and maintain these relationships while selecting the best talent to join our global company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit full-time employees and interns in a variety of disciplines, including engineering business, safety, logistics and research
- Establish and maintain relationships with students, faculty, career placement center staff, and others on campus
- Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria utilizing computer databases, university career centers, networking and other sources
- Interact with students who may become applicants, discussing employment opportunities and other company information including an overview of the company, operations and other areas of interest
- Represent ADM while meeting candidates in venues such as career fairs, classroom presentations and association presentations
- Review resumes and pre-select the applicants to be interviewed on campus
- Interview applicants to obtain information on education, work history, training and job skills
- Collaborate effectively with company management and refer applicants for the appropriate positions
- Coordinate campus-recruiting efforts and manage campus-presence programs for a variety of colleges and universities within the United States

REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as active listening skills
- Provide exceptional interaction with potential candidates and our other clients
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective, polished presentation skills with an interest in speaking to groups and with new acquaintances
- Must be able to clearly communicate over the telephone, in person, via e-mail and in other written communication
- Sound judgment and decision making skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Flexibility and the ability to effectively prioritize
- Provide excellent customer service and follow-through
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Ability to effectively utilize telephone, PC/laptop and other technology
- Ability to successfully work while standing for extended periods of time
- Overnight travel required approximately 50% of the year
- Thorough knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable area of study

PREFERENCES
- Three to five years of industry recruiting experience
- Proven interview and selection skills


This exempt position offers a complete benefit package, including medical, dental, prescription drug and life insurance, 401(k)/ESOP with company match and pension. This position does include relocation benefits.
