The Senior Staffing Manager provides strategic and tactical leadership to a group of experienced recruiters in the staffing organization for assigned technology groups. Works with employees and managers at all levels to ensure that we have the talent required to meet Cisco’s business objectives in the assigned technology groups. Fosters a team environment in the group and demonstrates collaborative leadership. Designs and improves key staffing processes and monitors staffing process/customer satisfaction metrics while ensuring adherence to all local laws. Continually drives efficiencies in staffing processes while maintaining or improving recruiting support levels. Assists in the implementation of business planning initiatives. Develops and implements staffing plans and strategies that ensure diversity, high quality, and organizational fit throughout the recruiting and hiring process. Continuously improves key success indicators, manages assigned projects and implements strategies and process improvements within the group. Applies knowledge of Cisco's business strategies. Represents Cisco by communicating business capabilities and strategies to external constituents and understands the effect of emerging global markets on our business. Will be involved in influencing, modifying and executing company policies which affect immediate operations. Reports to the Senior Director of Staffing.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 10-15 years of recruiting experience with at least 5 years experience managing a large staffing team, preferably in the technology industry.
  • Recruiting experience in a fortune 500 company
  • The ability to work in a very fast-paced and ambiguous environment

 

Preferred locations are San Jose, CA and Research Triangle Park, NC.
