                  HR Consultant – College Recruiter

PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION (Ref. #20080282) 

Position Summary: Perform recruitment, sourcing, and pipeline activities to meet corporate objectives.  Some of the activities include:

 • Working with company leaders to strategize college and pipeline recruitment efforts for a variety of disciplines, including engineering, radiation protection, maintenance and operations

• Establishing relationships and coordinating interfaces with local, state, and national colleges and universities

• Establishing and maintaining relationships with students, graduates, faculty, and career placement centers

• Establishing career launching programs

• Ensuring that diversity principles are integrated into the full talent acquisition processes
 

• Leveraging partnerships and relationships with professional organizations

• Developing and implementing hiring strategies to address ongoing staffing needs

• Planning for and representing the company at college career fairs

• Actively recruiting college students and graduates

• Conducting interviews, processing resumes, and interfacing professionally with a variety of audiences 

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration (or related field) and four years of related Human Resource experience OR an equivalent combination of education AND experience in active successful college recruitment

* High degree of flexibility and creativity; high level of professionalism

* Ability to travel

* Strong communication and analytical skills

* Ability to generate a high volume of quality, diverse candidates under tight deadlines

* Nuclear industry knowledge preferred

* SPHR or PHR preferred
