Flexco is a world resource for conveyor belt maintenance technology, based in Downers Grove, IL. For over 100 years, we've been manufacturing belt conveyor products worldwide. Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for the Human Resources Recruiter position in our Downers Grove location.

The chosen candidate will:

1. Assume responsibility for recruiting and selecting great people for positions across the organization.
   
2. Partner with managers throughout the company to gain a solid understanding of business objectives and job requirements in order to develop and implement recruitment strategies.
   
3. Assist managers in crafting job descriptions and participate in the position evaluation process.
   
4. Use creative and innovative methods to source candidates. Manage relationships with search firms and employment agencies; participate in career fairs and industry events.
   
5. Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements. Screen applicants and facilitate interviews.
   
6. Determine appropriate testing methods, conduct reference checks, and assist hiring team in selection of candidates. Assist managers in determining appropriate starting wage.
   
7. Maintain recruiting records and documentation.
   
8. Develop and track metrics associated with the recruiting process and quality of hires.
   
9. Assume ownership of the new employee on-boarding process to ensure new employees acclimate to the culture.
   
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
  
• 3 years recruiting experience in a corporate Human Resources environment
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  
• Flexible schedule; able to accommodate interviews outside of normal work hours

Experience/Skills Helpful but Not Required:

• Exposure to HR Generalist responsibilities
  
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
