Description

~About the Company~

In 1856, the Sisters of Providence formed the Providence ministry with a spirit of collaboration and commitment to working with all whom they served. Built on that foundation of providing service, compassion and care, Providence Health & Services now operates 27 acute care facilities, more than 35 non-acute facilities, physician clinics, a health plan, liberal arts university, a high school, 47,000 employees and numerous other housing and education services.

Recognizing that legacy and visionary leadership are not mutually exclusive, Providence is intentionally building a world class health care organization at every level. One of the first quality initiatives is a single combined benchmarking tool to collect, analyze and identify opportunities for improvement in patient care throughout the system.
