One of our clients, located Downtown seeks a strong Senior Recruiter for their Energy division. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop, implement and manage the recruiting strategy for Client Resources. He/she will also be responsible for sourcing and identifying qualified candidates for exempt and non-exempt positions at various levels of Client’s organization. Positions to include professional, field technician positions and transport drivers within our Houston corporate and/or plant and sales offices located throughout the United States.

RESPONSIBILITIES
·    Provide hands-on management of daily recruiting activities for open vacancies in corporate, sales and field locations throughout United States
·    Identify and source candidates for open positions from targeted resources such as on-line sourcing, industry / professional organizations, networking, etc.
·    Establish and grow relationships with colleges, technical schools, military sources, industry / professional organizations, etc. to build staffing resources.  In addition, establish and build business relationships with the hiring managers in order to successfully understand their business and provide the excellent customer service.
·    Travel required to attend recruiting events such as targeted job fairs, campus and technical school recruiting and any targeted industry recruiting events.
·    Manage/coordinate Client’s relationships with recruiting agencies and headhunters with the goal of establishing “preferred provider” relationships with targeted resources.
·    Screen resumes, disposition and forward to Hiring Managers and assist with any prescreening / recruiting needs throughout the staffing process
·    Continued maintenance of Client’s regulatory requirement compliance activities / documentation throughout the entire recruiting process as directed by OFCCP
·    Provide clear, actionable updates to HR Business Partners and management in order to achieve recruiting results
·    Work with the Hiring Manager, HR Business Partner and Administrator to assist with the on-boarding process once the candidate has been identified
·    Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
·    Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 4-5 years recruiting experience to include both exempt and non-exempt positions. Energy industry recruiting experience required.
·    Proven track record of driving recruitment through the use of an effective recruiting strategy,  use of online resources as well as networking and competitor sourcing
·    Must possess a deadline oriented and hands-on approach to recruiting with demonstrated ability to achieve recruiting goals in a timely manner
·    Strong sense of urgency with excellent verbal/written communications required
·    Demonstrated ability to communicate with internal and external customers and management at various levels of an organization
·    Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with management and sourcing resources
·    Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc)
·    Ability to travel as needed to attend job fairs, campus / technical school recruiting activities and any other targeted recruiting activities in addition to providing support to the field/sales office locations.
·    Ability to work well within a team environment
·    PHR/SPHR a plus
