In this high profile position as a strategic Human Resource Partner to the Mid-Atlantic regional leadership team, you will: 

-Actively participate with management in the development of the business plans.

-Initiate appropriate actions with line management. Keep a global view of the business and of HR.

-Ensure strategies and actions make sense not only for the region, but also for the enterprise as a whole.

-Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders in key positions within the organization.

-Help business leaders manage change projects so that business plans are effectively implemented as well as influence business leaders to take actions required to enhance organizational performance.

-Develop a comprehensive human resources plan in support of the business by using elements from the business strategy, capability assessments, and business planning activities to develop a comprehensive HR plan for the region. Plan may include interventions from one or more areas of HR. Plan should have a regional as well as an enterprise-wide view.

-Measure the impact of human resources initiatives on the achievement of business goals. Use reliable data collection methods to determine operational and performance results from an interventions, discuss the outcomes with business leaders, and agree on additional actions that will result in desired improvement of the results or process.

-Leverage the successful work of others. Share and draw upon information, insights, products, and project info of colleagues in order to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

Bachelors' degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent. Requires seven or more years of broad management experience in Human Resources, including in depth experience in Employee and Labor Relations and including two or more years of Field/Area Office experience. Proven leadership for achieving high levels of employee morale in both union and union free environments of multiple site businesses. Knowledge of salary administration/compensation preferred. Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
