We are currently looking to fill a new position for an experienced Recruiter to support our National Practices Economic Unit (NPEU) and will be physically located in either Minneapolis, MN or Chicago, IL.

The NPEU provides audit and consulting services in a variety of areas including credit union audit and consulting, transaction support services, regulatory insurance, and technology risk management services.

Position Overview:The Recruiter will be responsible for full life-cycle recruiting as well as establishing campus relations in the Midwest Region.  The incumbent will work closely with the Human Resources Director, Functional Managing Directors and hiring managers to fill positions in a timely fashion within the designated areas of responsibility. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full life-cycle recruitment process from identification and qualification of candidates through offer negotiation, hiring and on-boarding.
  • Create job specifications and job postings to attract qualified candidates and enhance brand awareness.
  • Utilize innovative sourcing techniques to identify candidates for respective industry/service areas.
  • Prescreen candidates to qualify skills and move candidates through the interview process in a timely manner.
  • Understand relevant market attributes to assist in developing recruiting strategies for long term, sustained growth. 
  • Collaborate with practice leadership to assess needs and implement action plan to achieve hiring goals. 
  • Communicate progress and provide status reports to Managing Directors and hiring managers. 
  • Generate and proactively manage candidate pipeline with little supervision. 
  • Partner with National Practices Recruiting and HR team to cultivate relationships and establish open communications. 
  • Play an active role in the Midwest region to build network and participate in relevant professional organization events.
  • Develop campus relations with appropriate colleges and screen/interview candidates.
  • Generate qualified candidates through cost-effective strategies.
  • Conduct skills testing, reference checks and background investigation.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable firm policies, federal, state, and local laws related to employment.
  • Accurately report and track required candidate data in applicant tracking system.
  • Participate in special projects/task forces as assigned by management.
 Qualifications:
  • BS degree and a minimum of 5 years previous recruiting experience; 2 years in a professional services environment preferred
  • Demonstrated candidate development experience
  • Demonstrated experience/ability to identify and direct source qualified candidates using multiple recruiting resources such as referrals, direct sourcing strategies, job boards, agencies, and networking groups
  • Demonstrated understanding of recruiting and sourcing concepts/strategies
  • A proven track record making professional level placements
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Expert in behavioral interview techniques
  • Ability to support/interact with senior practice members
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Problem/issue identification and resolution, project management, and presentation skills for both internal and external audiences
  • Strong analytical skills, negotiation and facilitation skills to deal with delicate issues appropriately 
  • Experience with recruiting software preferred
