We are seeking a Director of Recruiting to assist in propelling our planned growth. The Director, reporting to the V.P., General Manager, will provide strategic direction for the recruiting function and manage the recruiting department staff.

Director of Recruiting Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, support, advocacy, and vision to the CPSI recruiting team (currently a team of 7 with plans to expand). Provide training and coaching to staff as needed. This team fills all levels of technology positions for both consulting/contract positions and permanent positions, with a primary focus on application development and software engineering positions in the greater Baltimore area.
- Responsible for establishing, developing, maintaining and enforcing the recruiting process. The recruiting process should be updated and adjusted to allow for best practices as determined by the Senior Leadership Team.
- Develop, maintain and implement the tools and systems, needed to support the recruiting function, as well as the implementation of fluid and creative sourcing strategies and recruitment marketing initiatives to adapt to continual changes in the job market.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to recruiters using your expertise in e-recruiting, technical recruiting, sourcing, and cold-calling techniques.
- Responsible for developing and executing a cohesive strategy for sourcing, pre-screening, and interviewing of qualified professionals with the ultimate goal of developing and maintaining a diversified portfolio of candidates available for placement on open job orders.
- Provide recruiting best practices, strategic direction, to the recruiting team.
- Develop and implement quantitative and qualitative measurements for the recruiting staff and a reporting process on those measurements for effectiveness.
- Responsible for developing the profile and qualifications for new recruiters as well as hiring new recruiters
- Develop or research and implement training programs for new recruiters.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record of recruiting results.
- Demonstrated ability leading and mentoring other recruiters with successful results. Management experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years directly related experience including at least 2 years of leadership experience.
- Experience recruiting within the IT Consulting and Perm Placement fields with the majority of the experience in the private sector.
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, energetic, and display a high degree of self confidence and professionalism.
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to create a high-trust high-performance culture.
- Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively both in writing and verbally. Ability to represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
- Ability to work in a matrixed organizational structure, developing strong relationships with all levels of management.
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities, and to maintain organization and flexibility in a changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to understand the specific needs within I.T job requirements, identify qualified candidate applicants and coach/mentor the recruiting teams as needed.
- Considerable interviewing skill and experience, and a working knowledge of laws relating to hiring and employment.
- Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, the internet and various applicant tracking systems.
- Knowledge of and facility with recruiting and sourcing through social networks such as LinkedIn
