Capital is a leading global private investment firm with over $7.5 billion of capital under management and 150 investment professionals world-wide.  We are seeking a senior recruiter to recruit investment professionals and back-office staff for H.I.G. and its family of funds.  H.I.G.’s family of funds includes private equity, growth equity, distressed debt, and public equities.  We have been growing rapidly and recently closed on  a $3 billion fund, dedicated to distressed debt and middle market private equity investing.

 The core of the firm’s success, however, has been and remains its leading private equity franchise. H.I.G. aligns itself with committed management teams and entrepreneurs and then helps them build businesses of significant value. H.I.G.’s team of investment professionals has substantial operating, consulting, and financial management experience, enabling the firm to contribute meaningfully to its portfolio companies’ success.  H.I.G. has investments in over 100 companies in a wide range of industries, all part of a highly successful and unique investment strategy. The firm is headquartered in Miami, Florida with satellite offices in Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco, as well as London, Paris, and Hamburg. 

The Senior Recruiter should have 4+ years experience of full lifecycle recruiting, with a strong track record of recruiting investment professionals.  He/She will interact with varying levels of professionals within the firm, including the Company’s founders and Managing Directors.  Additionally, he/she will recruit from junior to executive-level candidates.  As such, the Senior Recruiter must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong professional presence.  Strong sourcing skills are required.  Outstanding project/process management skills, creativity, initiative, intellect, and team-orientation are keys success.  Financial savvy is a strong plus.  AIRS certification would be helpful.  The successful candidate will have B.A. or B.S. from a top academic institution.  This position reports to the Director of Global Recruiting.  You would be joining a small recruiting team, which includes the Director, another more junior Recruiter, and an Administrative Assistant.
