Austin Industrial, Inc. is a leading General Contractor who provides construction, maintenance and plant services to a variety of industrial clients.  We are currently seeking an experienced Employment Coordinator in San Antonio, Texas.

This is for a 12-13 month position, but does include an offer of benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, vacation pay, and holiday pay.

This position reports to the Employment Manager.  

Tasks:  Recruit, interview and hire industrial craft and potential employee candidates. Abilities:  Critical problem solving skills, ability to multitask, high level of attention to detail, a professional demeanor and an understanding human resource concepts, practices and procedures and be able to implement them in an  industrial hiring environment. 

Knowledge:  Familiar with industrial craft descriptions, computer literate including but not limited to all Microsoft programs such as Word and Excel, and be familiar with human resource  concepts and procedures. 

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):  Industrial craft recruitment including interview and processing, data entry, upkeep of the personnel file system and computer records, answer phone calls, scheduling of a variety of tests including but not limited to drug tests, weld tests, physicals and safety orientation.  

Local candidates (in the San Antonio area) highly preferred.

Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.  

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
