IT Recruiting Need:
CIBER, Inc. is currently seeking a seasoned IT/Technical Recruiter in our Southfield Michigan office. Our office provides a fast-paced, dynamic environment in which success is achieved through strong motivation to develop and maintain a healthy candidate pipeline.
- Developing, growing and improving the quality of the consultant resource pipeline is key to the success of this position. Recruiters who are successful in this environment recognize that professional and courteous communication with prospective candidates will lead to long-term relationships.
- We are seeking an individual who can draw upon a proven recruiting background to identify and manage candidates throughout the hiring process, from initial identification through offer acceptance. Recruiting cycle includes sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluating, and negotiating compensation.
- Requires use of a consultative, professional approach to evaluate candidate skills/abilities and place in IT consulting roles that meet their skills and expectations.
- All CIBER recruiting activity will follow CIBER’s documented ISO policies and procedures.
- Work in a team environment with other recruiting staff. Our office’s recruiters strive for branch goals as well as personal. Recruiters work collaboratively in the best interests of the branch, while being held accountable for individual growth and performance.
- Perform in depth sourcing of passive candidates by using creative forms of online search (User Groups, Social Networking, etc.)
- CIBER’s Southfield office provides recruiting support to assist with resume production, job postings, candidate prescreens, reference checks, and technical qualification. We are looking for a recruiter with the passion and drive to match qualified resources to open positions, ensure the resume presented to the client is as strong as possible, and maintain communication to ensure that candidates are confident in CIBER’s ability to help them make their next career move.
- Utilize CIBER’s Applicant Tracking system extensively and record all relevant candidate activity and documentation in the candidate database.
Required Skills:

5+ years recruiting experience, with a proven Information Technology recruiting track record in fast paced, high volume environments.

Knowledge of and enthusiasm for the IT profession.

Experience managing the full cycle recruiting process for a large organization. Must be able to effectively manage a candidate network of 30+ candidates simultaneously.

Motivation to utilize all available sourcing options, including cold calling, networking, and creative online sourcing.

Willingness to work collaboratively with other recruiting staff.

Ability to network and quickly build rapport.

Desire to work in a fast paced, results oriented environment.

Commitment to professionalism and strong business ethics.

Knowledge of computer and internet technologies including technical terminology, IT job functions, and internet recruiting techniques.

Must have strong exceptional negotiation skills and experience successfully closing candidates.
- Superior verbal and written communication and resume writing skills.
