Microsoft is building an exciting new corporate research and development campus in the center of Cambridge, MA. We are looking for an experienced Staffing Manager to lead an account management and sourcing recruiting team. You will have the opportunity to make a direct and immediate impact on the future of the company working with senior Microsoft leaders.
The primary responsibilities of the Staffing Manager include:
a. Development and implementation of staffing strategies and talent acquisition plans that align to the overall people strategy for these leaders' evolving businesses
b. Development of workforce planning strategies, recruiting and staffing initiatives, and ensure their implementation and results
c. Lead a recruiting team in a fast-paced, team-based environment focused on hiring the best for Microsoft in Engineering, Research, Sales & Marketing professions.
d. Measure and analyze key metrics for the purpose of ensuring staffing effectiveness and quality; and, lead efforts to keep Microsoft's Staffing organization world-class
e. Develop strong partnerships with global HR teams, including central recruiting, compensation, and benefits, to ensure alignment of goals, programs and communication
The ideal candidate will have experience working with senior leaders in a high tech corporate environment; experience in both large corporations and startups is helpful. The successful candidate will have a passion for HR as a driver of business results, strong business acumen, the ability to identify critical business issues, and apply Staffing expertise to deliver solutions. The successful candidate will embrace ambiguity and will be a tireless advocate for professional growth. Candidates must have demonstrated excellence in the areas of: leadership, business acumen, consulting, analysis, project management, communication, presentation, negotiation and conflict management, and problem solving.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6+ years in recruiting, staffing, sales and/or Human Resource management experience. Demonstrated experience in developing workforce planning strategies preferred. Applicant should have prior successful management experience in a high tech environment.
