Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
•Recruits and maintains a qualified pool of IT applicants via a variety of sources (Internet, job fairs, newspaper, advertisements, and personal networking); reviews and analyzes résumés/applications and conducts prescreen interviews of applicants to verify qualifications; arranges necessary testing and refers qualified applicants to hiring management; develops and coordinates advertising activities and recruiting functions; communicates staffing procedures and updates to management
•Negotiates salary offers and service fees with candidates and recruiting agencies; works with the Compensation Department to determine appropriate salary offer and makes recommendations to hiring manager regarding selection and total compensation; coordinates travel arrangements and accommodations for selected candidates; assists in approval and administration of relocation agreements
•Coordinates the administration of all related testing for internal and external applicants to include reference, background, and credit checks on all possible new hires
•Develops and maintains an effective working relationship with Information Technology management, providing prompt and efficient recruitment efforts, and ensuring compliance with established personnel policies, procedures, and legal requirements
•Researches, analyzes, and compiles statistical data reports for HR management and makes recommendations to enhance employment practices
•Performs other related duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field and six years of job-related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
•Experience must include a minimum of four years working within the information technology field and a minimum of two years in a leadership/senior capacity in a diverse work environment
