Global Recruitment Manager

Reports to: Global Head, HR

Purpose of the Job

To manage and ensure the delivery of an efficient and effective recruitment service for Permanent Hires across the organisation. The focus will be on account management, consultancy, selection, and managing effective supply of candidates (including self sourcing).
To achieve personal and team targets and contribute to the overall success, and positive image of Recruiting within the organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Work as the Talent Acquisition Lead to implement and deliver the service and strategy ensuring that targets are met or exceeded.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to ensure compliance and expand areas of service delivery.
  • Support your team members in their daily activities.
  • Work to achieve and aim to exceed agreed personal and team targets, objectives and SLAs.
  • Travel as required.

Key activities

  • Account Management/ Business Partnering
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of business areas, their deliverables and needs.
  • Build and foster relationships with key players and decision makers.
  • Devise recruitment strategies, procedures, legislation and market conditions.
  • Constantly explore and implement sourcing methodologies as appropriate.
  • Act as a reference and escalation point for customers, to further develop the relationship with the customer.
  • Act as a reference and escalation point for candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Recruitment
  • Consult on critical & C-level requirements, recommend and action recruitment strategies to ensure the highest quality resource is engaged in an efficient and cost effective manner.
  • Lead the team who will manage full lifecycle recruitment for any needs within all business areas.
  • Define recruitment processes, ensuring best practice at all times. Monitoring recruitment process identifying and recommending areas for improvement
  • Overall supervision of managing candidates from initial application to the first day on site.
  • Oversight of coaching and supporting allocated Recruiters and Researchers in their day to day activities.

Supplier Management
  • Taking a partnership approach to ensure the best quality service from suppliers to ensure delivery to the customer.
  • Monitor the service delivered by 3rd parties, identifying and resolving issues or escalating as appropriate

Other
  • Overall oversight of maintaining databases, management reports and documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Maintain knowledge of the client and candidate markets.
  • Develop internal knowledge of Recruitment best practice,
  • Work with and mentor resourcing teams to ensure quality supply.

PERSON SPECIFICATION


Qualifications

Education to degree level, preferable

Special Skills and Competencies

  • 10+ years recruitment experience, 5+ in a managerial capacity, with the majority gained in a service delivery, consulting or technical environments. In house experience a priority.
  • Knowledge of full recruitment lifecycle and various attraction and selection techniques.
  • Solid understanding of the IT/Telco business model and drivers is a major advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering solutions in a client environment.
  • Ability to network within a customer organisation to identify all key influencers and decision makers.
