Job Summary: We currently have an opening for a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition in our Parsippany, New Jersey location. This position will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership to ensure the successful recruiting of talent for all non-sales positions. The Senior Manager will revise and develop processes, procedures, and policies to increase efficiencies in the recruiting process, while ensuring legal compliance and fiscal responsibility.
Responsibilities: In this role, you will formulate recruiting strategies for current and forecasted open positions that support corporate objectives, and recommend programs to support EEO/AAP goals. You will manage two experienced recruiters and the day-to-day relationship with a recruitment process outsource (RPO) vendor, internal HR and external vendor partners. This includes overseeing the DSI campus recruiting strategy for undergraduate and MBA level recruiting and Rutgers fellowship program, identifying innovative sourcing strategies for Senior Level talent, and assisting in identifying global sourcing and recruiting strategies. You will facilitate the resolution of recruiting related issues, monitor customer satisfaction metrics, and identify areas for process improvement. Additionally, you will train new hiring managers, support staff and recruiters on the recruiting process and related roles and responsibilities.
This position required approximately 15% travel.
Education/Experience: Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree (or higher). You must have at least 7-10 years of prior recruiting/staffing experience, preferably in the Pharmaceutical industry. At least 3 years of experience managing a staffing team is required. Prior global sourcing experience is highly desired. PHR/SPHR certification is a plus, as is Behavioral Interviewing Certification and AIRS Certification. We are looking for someone who has demonstrated success in implementing innovative methods to source passive candidates and a network of niche contingency and retained search firms. Additionally, experience working with different recruiting service delivery models (i.e. RPO, in-house) is a plus. You should have demonstrated experience delivering presentations to multiple audiences, strong follow-up skills, and the ability to influence others and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
