We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering and Technical Recruiter  This contract position will be responsible for full-time salaried, contract, and contract to hire recruitment.  

Job Description:  

  • Candidate sourcing and screening
  • Develop collaborative working relationships with hiring managers.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, strong organizational and prioritizing abilities, negotiation skills, and good business judgment.
  • Conducts preliminary interviews of qualified candidate. Refers acceptable candidates for the next level of interview, and coordinates the interview.
  • Identify and recommend recruitment strategies for assigned open positions and communicate strategies with hiring managers and appropriate stakeholders
  • Pro-actively keep abreast of market availability of skill sets and current market data relative to staffing, including salary shifts and promotion of realistic time to fill metrics. 
 Qualifications and Requirements:
  • BA or BS degree and/or three plus years of technical recruiting experience is required is required.  BS in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Engineering terminology and environments is preferred (i.e. Power Systems, Substations, Project Management, Protection and Control, Schematics, High Voltage Equipment, Turnkey Projects, etc.)
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.  Experience with Lotus Notes is a plus.
  • Collaborative interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to give presentations.
  • Project a highly professional image that conveys subject matter expertise
  • Internet sourcing and data mining skills, including proficiency in applicant tracking, candidate database management, various sourcing and data mining techniques, and Internet job boards.
  • Self starter, results/production driven.
  • Ability to build relationships over the phone.
  • Excellent interviewing and negotiating skills.
  • Flexibility and capacity to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Must work productively in the absence of management and possess leadership skills.
  • Possess a good understanding of the H1/VISA process for international sourcing.
  • Strong organizational skills.
Additional Information:
  • This position will last for approximately 6 months
