We are currently seeking a College Recruiter to attract and recruit “top notch” college graduates to Arup and be actively involved in all aspects of the college recruiting process. This position is responsible for building relationships with hiring managers and core campuses, implementing and participating in the selection process for both full time graduate hires and interns, and assimilating new hires into the organization.
Your responsibilities will involve:
- Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs. Participate in the college recruiting strategy, selection of schools, and compensation targets.
- Take part in all recruiting events, such as career fairs, campus visits, presentations, events with student organizations, and additional networking opportunities; help coordinate marketing materials for these events.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with universities; coordinate communication and follow-up with all candidates.
- Conduct and coordinate the campus and in-house interviews and selection process for new hires and interns.
- Track applicant data and offer letters along with general administrative upkeep.
Qualified professionals will have a Bachelor’s degree, with 3-5 years of staffing and selection/recruiting experience, including university recruiting experience. Successful candidates must have excellent skills in attracting/retaining talent, building relationships, presenting, and communicating verbally and in writing. Must have the ability to manage relationships with senior staff, college administration, and students. Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are necessary. A familiarity with technical roles and college/university student trends is desired. Experience in recruiting for A/E industry is a plus. Willingness to do heavy travel is required.
