Sr. HR/Employee Relations Generalist 

L.L.Bean is currently recruiting for a Sr. HR/Employee Relations Generalist with a retail background who will be based in our Surace Facility in Freeport, ME. This highly important role will be responsible for contributing to the development and delivery of corporate-wide Employee Relations and Performance strategies and programs. This position will also provide coaching to assigned area leadership on issues regarding leadership, employee relations, and organization development. Qualified candidates will also provide high-level consultation on issues relating to all aspects of HR and collaborate with other HR disciplines to support area and company leader initiatives. They will also assess and diagnose organizational issues and develop and implement appropriate interventions.

Required skills include:

--5-7 years of HR Generalist background required
--BA/BS or equivalent level of education preferred
--Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
--Ability to work with various levels of employees and leaders, including very senior leaders
--Ability to assess and diagnose often complex situations, and influence solutions
--Strong problem solving and organizational skills
--Ability to think strategically both at a local and a global level, making links to move the company forward
--Solid understanding of business fundamentals, corporate strategy and organizational issues
--Broad HR knowledge. Ability to work with very complex HR situations, partnering with multiple resources as needed
