Talent Acquisition Analyst
at Time Warner Cable
Description
The scope of this role is dedicated to providing centralized management and technical support for recruitment tools and applications, Company websites, and Internet Job Boards as related to the talent acquisition function at Time Warner Cable. Serves as primary liaison for these systems, communicating requirements and managing priorities, while working collaboratively with HRIS and systems users.
• Production and User Support for applicant tracking system (Brassring).
• Operates as functional expert for all recruitment systems and other applications as assigned (Metrics Tools, Onboarding Integrations, Recruitment Technologies
• Takes ownership of functional and system issues by identifying underlying problems, analyzing potential solutions and implementing system resolutions including workarounds. Obtains user/business consensus on projects and initiatives, shared data and content, priorities, etc.
• Conducts regular user status, collaboration and planning meetings in conjuction with HRIS and Strategic Business Partners concerning recruiting technologies and system integrations
• Monitors applications and web sites to ensure content is current and relevant and that integrations are working properly
• Innovates and introduces product Enhancments for recruitment technologies to TA Teams.
• Works with Manager and TA Leadership to ensure that the systems and websites are developed in collaboration and any enhancments and best practices are shared. Oversee Job Board vendor relationships: Represents TWC as the point of contact for multiple relationships with Job Boards/ divisional accounts and partner with parent company to drive coordination of relationship
Functional Analysis and Design
• Develops understanding of relevant business process
• Defines functional requirements for enhancements, fixes, upgrades and maintenance
• Assists in the development of business process to leverage systems
• Develops standards and protocols for shared system usage of technologies
• Works with users to develop consistent standard for website content and graphics
Quality Assurance
• Performs unit and integration testing
• Executes test plans and scripts according to project requirements
• Oversees user testing activities
Training and Documentation
• Trains users to use applications in scope
• Develops documentation for training new users and launching new enhancements
• Prepares application and process documentation as required
• Documents system functionality, particularly related to changes and new enhancements, works closely with user groups to ensure a full, in-depth understanding of the business processes
Project initiation and Support
• Tracks all user requests and records status
• Works with key users and HRIS/IT management to prioritize and schedule projects and initiatives
• Responsible for Application Security: User Deactivation, New User Set up
• Becomes familiar with and adheres to IT Security policies and procedures
• Works with appropriate users and system vendor to manage access and maintain controls
Administration
• Communicates plans, status and issues to management on a regular basis
• Adheres to department standards, policies, procedures and industry best practices
Job Requirements:
• Knowledge of relational database concepts and database management systems
• Familiarity with web and graphics technologies and tools
• Ability to manage website content - establishing and maintaining consistent and professional standards
• Capable of translating business needs into technical solutions
• Strong relationship management skills with the ability to work with all levels of staff client and HRIS/IT personnel
• Solid experience in working with Recruitment Technology, Job boards, recruitment reporting tools and developing necessary training documentation
• Understands staffing processes, roles, technology, tools and metrics
• Must be able to work in an environment where direction is not always explicit and have a "can do" attitude - very results driven
• Recruitment Technology system knowledge and HRMS system knowledge, processes and the interrelationships of data between systems
• Understands and can articulate in simple terms models of recruitment effectiveness/organizational development and the role staffing plays in driving organizational effectiveness
• Understands Job Boards, job wrapping and technology associated with management of third party systems
• Demonstrated skills in consulting, facilitating, training, and presenting
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, determine logical solutions, and assist others in the resolution of problems
• Ability to keep confidential information as such
• Proficient using word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software, preferably Microsoft Suite
•Travel 15-20%
Preferred Qualifications:
• Incumbent will have a very good understanding of the high-volume staffing environment, regional organizational structures, the needs of the business units (divisions), and how to create a value proposition to attract top talent
• Incumbent will have a very good understanding of compliance related issues associated with OFCCP and FCC government regulations and how to incorporate recruitment process flow to ensure compliance with these laws.
• Knowledge of BrassRing (Recruitment Technology), Talent View (Pilat: Talent management system), Peoplesoft (HRMS System) and their applications
• Ability to effectively juggle multiple responsibilities with planning and process improvement project responsibility - Good project management, task organization and delegation skills
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience. Minimum 3 years experience implementing and supporting talent acquisition systems, HR related applications. Extensive experience in developing user requirements, developing and executing test plans and providing application training. Prior experience with BrassRing.
