The Stevenson Group has been experiencing tremendous growth, and as a result we are looking to expand our recruitment team. 

 

Functioning as a Senior Recruiting Consultant for The Stevenson Group, responsibilities of this role will include the client relationship management and the recruitment of senior-level executives inclusive of project management (internal and external). New business development activity is both encouraged and mentored!

 

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

  • In conjunction with Business Developers and Research Associates, develop and manage search strategy ("who", "what", "where", and "when" project timeline (inclusive of communications) and target list).
  • Manage Recruitment/ Research process and set expectations to client and internal team appropriately. This will require a proven ability to effectively manage milestone oriented tasks while setting and achieving long-term recruitment goals.
  • Ability to pro-actively manage the client process, inclusive of correspondence, timelines, and status reports.
  • Develop pre-screened and qualified executive candidates through both telephone and face-to-face screening.
  • Utilize creative sourcing techniques as well as the firm's proprietary tools, processes, protocols and service line knowledge to source and recruit candidates.
  • Deliver appropriate screening analyses, and effectively communicate why candidates meet key criteria ("must haves") agreed upon in search strategy meetings.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the client organizations to be served, their positions in their respective markets, and the services we have been retained to provide. This requires dedication stay abreast of industry news and a strong customer service approach.
  • Consult with internal team and provide ongoing feedback regarding search progress/ challenges and ensure a team atmosphere.
  • Professional and timely delivery of final reports and related competitive intelligence including follow-up on candidate/ client after hire.
  • Relationship management in terms of both new business opportunities and the servicing of existing accounts. This will require strong sales and customer service skills to develop long-term relationships with new and existing clients and candidates.

 

 

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Five plus years of experienced-hire recruitment experience in either Corporate or Retained Search environment.
  • Broad business knowledge with exposure to life sciences and technology focused companies is preferred but not necessary.
  • Successful track record of placing senior-level executives.
  • General knowledge of recruiting/ hiring laws and practices.
  • Good knowledge base and some prior experience in full-cycle recruitment.
  • Organizational management, sound business judgment, and exceptional interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while communicating effectively with internal staff, candidates, and clients.
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent candidate and client follow up skills.
  • Ability to work independently and to quickly adapt to and grasp scientific, technical, and business concepts is necessary.
  • Ability and desire to work effectively in a high-energy and multi-tasking environment.
  • Must enjoy life and be able to laugh!
