Our Professional Services business is growing and we seek an Account Manager to contribute to our ongoing success.  The Account Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy to support the sales of professional services into the Public Sector (federal/ state /local), NGOs and commercial clients.   In this quota carrying position, you will develop and maintain excellent customer relationships that result in new and continued business.  Our team of IT professionals have expertise in networking, help-desk and security technologies and we are seeking a sales person who knows how to sell these skillsets.  To be successful in this role, you must be energetic, persistent and performance-driven who is willing to work in a “start-up” type of environment with an established company.  You must have an entrepreneurial spirit, and you will be rewarded for your efforts. 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 5 years in IT services and experience defining sales strategy, positioning capabilities and developing business with federal agencies and commercial veritcals
  • Thorough understanding of business development / capture lifecycle as it applies to marketing federal bids for professional services, including formal sales methodologies
  • Experience marketing and closing medium and large scale information technology services engagements, including both project based and staff augmentation engagements
  • Successful legacy of meeting goals for consecutive years
  • Current relationships within the federal and / or commercial verticals and the ability to leverage contacts and relationships into qualified business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and writing skills and highly effective interpersonal skills to interact with technical leaders, business executives within company, customers, teammates and subcontractors
  • Fundamental understanding of services related to Information Technology, Networking, and Information Security
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Sales or related field
