Telecommunications/Technology Sourcing Consultant- TSRI



TSRI is growing and looking for a focused and results oriented Telecommunications/ Technology Sourcing Expert to join the Buffalo Grove, IL location.  We are willing to consider someone working remote but would really prefer to have a Researcher who could work in our suburban Chicago office part time at least.

As a TSRI Sourcing Consultant, you will:

• Drive the researching process to support a niche boutique recruiting firm.
• Use your recruiting and/or development / programming technical background to identify key talent in the marketplace.
• Maximize the resources available through the internet to search, identify and review potential candidates with specialized backgrounds.
• Source candidates through our existing database (over 80,000 technology/telecom professionals with 5+ years of experience) and contacts, advertising campaigns, and direct recruiting and a variety of on-line off–line options.
• Work closely with Recruiters and Screening organization to assure accurate and matching skill sets to the respective jobs and projects.
• Strategize with teammates to accomplish weekly business growth goals and provide back-up support to teammates as needed, such as ongoing research in the market place to help keep the team up to date on technologies applicable to the job market and industry
• Act as the sourcing/research arm of the Recruiting team at TSRI.
• Work closely with the appropriate recruiter and business units to develop and execute a sourcing strategy aimed at generating candidate flow for existing and future business.
• Identify hard to fill roles and niche skill sets; develop a network and database of talent across all targeted areas of business.

Experience Required:

Experience researching candidates using a variety of Internet Search Engines and other Trade Networking sites like Linked In, Plaxo, Google, etc.

The ability to drive the resourcing process for a sophisticated recruiting company.

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle research, extensive phone calls, and all tasks related to the sourcing process. Ability to be self-directed as well as working within a team Experience in either research or recruiting.Ability to leverage the internet for resumes and passive candidates.Experience leveraging Blogging to produce interest and traffic to company’s job boards.Preferred Experience:Experience with Telecommunications Industry (Wireline, Wireless, CLEC/ILEC, Cable/Broadband, and OSS/.BSS providers)  orExperience with Technical recruiting in multiple technologies
