Position Purpose:
The Director of Recruiting for the Americas is a key member of the Human Resource leadership team and Global Recruiting Council. You will lead the growth agenda from an organizational and people perspective in close coordination with Business Executives and HR directors within the US and Canada. The primary purpose of the role is to lead a team of experienced recruiting professionals in meeting the JIT and proactive future Pipelining demands of the business though the Identification, Assessment and Attraction of key talent to Avanade.
Key Responsibilities:
· Developing and leading recruiting strategies, programs and initiatives to meet JIT (Just in Time) and future proactive Pipelining Talent demand to support Experienced, Campus and Contract hires for the America’s
· Leading preparation and execution of innovative and cost-effective recruiting plans to meet growth objectives
· Leading, orienting, coaching and mentoring a recruiting team of Strategic Account Managers and Solution focused Sourcing Recruiting professionals
· Work closely with the SVP Global Talent Acquisition in setting the strategy for the America’s
· Understand demand plans and develop recruiting strategies that map to the America’s business investments by Solution, BU’s and Geography
· Understanding market conditions for targeted sources and preparing distinct and effective Sourcing Channel recruiting approaches to those markets and Talent Pools
· Developing and maintaining sources of hires including employee referrals, internet, diversity, executive recruiting resources, and campus recruiting and professional groups and develop key analytics that show opportunities for optimization and course correction where necessary
· Developing budgets and managing forecast against demand plans
· Leads complex projects that result in the accomplishment of overall business objectives; Plans, manages, monitors and evaluates the function’s ongoing performance and the quality of its outputs and services. Accountable for the effective performance of team(s) / larger cross-functional projects
· As the functional Recruiting lead, build and establish a strategic partnership and alignment with the respective group leaders and peers in the organization to effectively drive the recruiting agenda
· Partner with business leaders to define new and/or update Pipeline demand to meet the business climate and by providing monthly and quarterly recruitment scorecard
· Participate in HR regional and/or HR global leadership strategic initiatives as needed. Can be a project lead or a driver for Talent related initiatives as part of the Global Recruiting Council
· Oversight and responsibility for recruiting data integrity and tracking for the region
· Refining and managing consistent recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes that support a highly positive candidate experience and recruiter/ hiring manager efficiencies while improving the identification and assessment of quality talent for the America’s
· Identifying and capturing relevant recruitment performance metrics; improving effectiveness of data capture and analysis, using information to identify trends, driving change and assessing progress
· Ensuring recruiting process, interviews, and documentation are in compliance with EEO guidelines
Requirements:
· Experience working in the Information Technology industry for the last 5 years with a strong preference for consulting service experience
· At least 4 years management experience leading, managing managers and developing a diverse geographical team of recruiting professionals
· Must have a minimum of 5 years functional experience partnering with senior executive leadership to solve business problems through a clearly demonstrated consultative approach
· Experience guiding and managing a team of Sourcing professionals is highly preferred
· Strong program and project management background
· Must possess strong business acumen, the ability to drive results through others, strong analytical and negotiation skills, excellent process orientation
· Experience with cross group collaboration and partnering effectively with Legal, Marketing, Finance, Procurement and IT
· Demonstrated ability building effective relationships and impacting decision making
· Demonstrated success in a dynamic, frequently changing, and geographically disperse environment
· Flare for creative and out-of-the-box recruitment sourcing and branding of the candidate experience
· Experience in improving end-to-end recruitment process and program Organizational, communication, and written skills are a must
· International experience with an understanding of global Recruiting and HR perspectives is highly desired
· Strong organizational skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills – ‘Customer Focus’
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Deep MS Office expertise
· Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or Psychology preferred
