The Recruiting Manager will lead and plan strategic recruiting initiatives for the Florida Economic Unit. The individual will be responsible in attracting, engaging and hiring accounting and consulting talent. Must develop and maintain strong working relationships with the HR Director and Leadership Team. Leading the recruiting function in a quickly growing economic unit of the nation’s 5th largest Accounting, Tax and Business Consulting Firm, you will partner with local and firm-wide management to develop and deliver strategies and processes that will empower and engage the entire organization in proactively identifying and hiring talent.
Qualified candidates will use their prior relevant experience (7+ years recruiting, 3+ years’ supervisory experience, preferably in the finance or professional services industries) to:
- Work with HR Director in determining staff planning and budgets
- Work with Functional Team Leaders and HR Director in determining hiring requirements
- Review position requirements and, if necessary, develop and create job descriptions
- Screen, select, interview and evaluate potential candidates including experienced and campus hires.
- Partner with National Recruiting to insure firm-wide initiatives are implemented within the EU
- Assure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws related to employment
- Insure that appropriate records and metrics covering recruitment and hiring activity, terminations, and transfers are maintained
- Evaluate recruiting efforts to continually improve the process and quality of personnel brought into the Firm. Make recommendations to management for improvement of Firm’s employment policies, procedures and practices.
- Attend campus recruiting events.
- Determine recruiting budget and oversee school-specific campus recruiting budgets.
- Create and maintain metrics for the balanced scorecard by publishing recruiting key performance indicators such as; acceptance rate, turnover rate, time to fill, etc…
- Analyze recruiting data and results, compare strategy and targets, communicate status to Functional Team Leaders and Recruiting Team Champions, determine and implement results into an action plan.
- Manage and direct the college recruiting and internship program for the Florida Economic Unit.
-Implement diversity recruitment strategies and participate in applicable national recruiting conferences.
Qualified candidates should also have a Bachelor’s Degree, the ability to facilitate and enact change, excellent communication skills, ability to interact with all levels of management and staff.
Position requires 30-35% travel primarily within the State of Florida.
