Description
Responsible for all aspects of recruitment including hiring, screening / interviewing, job fairs, internship program, compliance, recommendations for hire and other recruitment duties for both Mid-Atlantic & New England regions. Position does involve frequent travel.
Job Description:
•Develop, implement and administer short and long term recruitment strategies for CN8 Network with special emphasis on external sourcing
•Develop, maintain & foster network of contacts to help identify & source qualified candidates
•Coordinate recruitment, screening, interviewing, selection process, job postings, outreach letter distribution and job file maintenance while maintaining Comcast recruitment protocols
•Coordinate with hiring manager, HR and others as appropriate to finalize job offer; communicate offer to applicant; assist in offer negotiations as/if appropriate; prepare all required offer paperwork and secure all required approvals; follow up as necessary to keep offer process moving along expeditiously
•Ensure that pre-employment hiring requirements are met including drug screens, background/ reference checks, offers are properly approved and EEOC / FCC documentation is properly maintained.
•If a new job description is needed, work closely with HR & hiring manager to obtain the appropriate job description and salary prior to completing the requisition form and posting the job
•Support internal movement by educating supervisors & managers on the intent as well as spirit of the internal transfer process. If a non-qualified candidate is received, work to ensure that career development conversations are initiated with the employee
•Continue to develop and manage Internship Program for the CN8 Network in both Mid-Atlantic & New England regions. Work with hiring managers in coordinating the recruitment, placement and evaluation of all student interns
•Responsible for POF/relocation process
•Maintain compliance folders, executive referral tracking, and update CN8.tv
•Participate in and represent network at job fairs and other off-site recruitment activities
•Make public presentations at schools, organizations and job fairs regarding the network and its internship & employment opportunities.

•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•2 - 4 years professional level Human Resources experience, preferably in recruiting
•Solid knowledge of current recruitment, selection and retention philosophies as well as of local, state and federal employment laws – required
•Ability to deliver training presentations for the HR department
•Knowledge of Brass Ring or other ATS strongly preferred
•Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
•Excellent organizational/follow through skills.
•Strong ability to multi-task.
•Demonstrated ability to work independently under specified objectives.
•Ability and willingness to travel often
•Proficiency in personal computer and software applications to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
•Regular, punctual and consistent attendance required.
•Valid Driver’s license
