Human Resources Manager
Working in close partnership with management, you will serve as a guide and catalyst for organizational change and workforce development providing full service Human Resources support as a single HR point of contact to associates at all levels. You will as function as a strategic business partner to divisional executive leadership, consulting on all HR related matters. You will handle a wide range of associate relations issues varying in complexity, including investigation of complaints of discrimination/harassment, LOA related issues, career pathing discussions, interpretation of policies, etc.
Acts as an internal consultant to business leaders. Partners with executive leadership on all matters related to HR, including but not limited to workforce and succession planning, department restructuring, associate engagement, and performance management. The tactics you develop and apply will impact positive employee relations, productivity and performance, career development, succession planning and talent management—ensuring an ample supply of human capital for the company's current and future needs.
You will also help us to achieve maximum organizational performance by: developing/implementing new HR programs; leading process development and implementation; managing the effective communication of policy, procedure, and benefits; conducting orientation and training programs. Facilitating various training curriculums and one off modules designed to train managers in HR practices and enhance leadership competencies in various areas, including interviewing, associate development, communication, decision making, problem solving and conflict management. In addition, you will respond to inquiries from associates; garnering exit interview feedback and administering equitable salary programs. You will assist in planning and delivery of various HR initiatives and programs and other ad hoc projects as assigned. This professional would also be responsible for administering annual management and hourly performance review programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization. Includes system administration, administration of merit and incentive process, collaboration with legal department and senior management to address performance issues, and partnership in creation/delivery of corrective action plans. Partners with Talent Acquisition to interview candidates for select positions and assists in planning and delivery of annual college recruiting programs.
The professional we are seeking has a demonstrated passion and aptitude for performance management and organizational effectiveness. In order to manage and deliver the full spectrum of HR services, he/she must have a recognizable ability to build relationships and gain consensus at all management levels.
Position also requires a Bachelor's degree in HR or related discipline; five to seven years Generalist experience within a large corporate setting; three or more years experience in performance management and organizational effectiveness; and strong communication, planning and organizational talents. Specialized training and corporate retail experience are a plus.
