<strong><em>Ryder System, Inc.</em></strong> a Fortune 500 provider of leading-edge transportation, logistics and supply chain management solutions worldwide - is currently seeking a <strong><em>Director of Recruiting</em></strong> <strong><em>Services </em></strong>to provide management and oversight to the full cycle exempt recruitment process for one of its nation-wide divisions. This includes the management of a staff of 10+ recruiters responsible for filling an average of 800 exempt positions annually. 
</p>

</p>
<p>
<strong>Responsibilities of this position include: </strong>
</p>
<ul>
	<li>Understanding the procedures in place for the identification, recruitment, and selection of applicants for exempt employment. </li>
	<li>Working with line executives and other staff executives to improve these procedures, keeping the procedures focused on the core business of the division and on Ryder's&nbsp;customer service standards, and&nbsp;in compliance with all relevant&nbsp;laws. </li>
	<li>Working to improve recruiting procedures across the division and to apply best practices from one area to another, ensuring consistency of message throughout the division; to this end, will develop procedures that are consistent with the corporate talent management strategy and will be a key contributor in improving and developing this strategy. </li>
	<li>Networking, Sourcing, and recruiting executive-level talent for the division nationwide. </li>
	<li>Working closely with other human resources professionals to ensure appropriate compensation packages are developed, approved, and communicated throughout the division. </li>
	<li>Managing the details of employment negotiations and offers, including the review and approval of offer letters. </li>
	<li>Assisting Ryder in fulfilling its objectives to advance Diversity hiring. </li>
	<li>Ensuring metrics and goals are on target. </li>
</ul>
<p>
<strong>Position Requirements: </strong>
</p>
<ul>
	<li>A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in managing a large corporate recruiting function with, at a minimum, exposure to the other functional areas and competencies found in the human resources departments of large US corporations. </li>
	<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in related discipline or equivalent related experience. </li>
	<li>Must have the knowledge and experience necessary to effectively manage the recruitment process across the division and the country. </li>
	<li>Must have a strong knowledge of employment law. </li>
	<li>Must be an individual with high standards who requires little direct supervision and who consistently takes the initiative to meet and exceed his/her goals and objectives. </li>

		<title><![CDATA[Staffing Director]]></title>

		<description><![CDATA[Reporting to the Staffing Leader for PSD this position is responsible for leading the Staffing Agenda by developing the three-year strategic workforce plan and converting the strategic plan to an annual staffing plan by client group. This position is also responsible for ensuring the adequate training of the line management population to effectively perform against their staffing accountability. Additionally, this position is responsible for the effective working relationship with the different Central Sourcing teams, International recruiting teams, College recruiting teams, and external agencies leading to the timely and cost effective filling of all jobs in the COSD organizations. This position is a key member of the COSD HR Leadership Team, and the PSD staffing team Key Accountabilities<br />
Works with the COSD Generalist Team to develop align business needs and the staffing strategies to meet the talent needs of the business (Quantity, Quality, Diversity, Cost, Productivity, and Global)<br />
Evangelizes Microsoft&rsquo;s Staffing strategy within COSD <br />
Supports HR Business Lead on all staffing &amp; succession planning activities in coordination with the COSD POC Director.<br />
Collaborates with other COE and Global teams (i.e., Corporate Compensation, Corporate Diversity, Legal, Regional Recruiting Teams and HRIT) to improve recruiting efforts<br />
Leads and develops COSD Staffing team <br />
Ensures that all tools of staffing are clearly understood and utilized by the team including vendor and search company management<br />
Responsible for tracking and reporting staffing metrics on monthly basis to COSD key business leaders<br />
Ensures consistent application of recruiting brand and process within the COSD group and works with leaders to articulate COSD value proposition<br />
Owns implementation of all staffing policies, processes and procedures within group through BG Staffing and Generalist Teams<br />
<br />
Qualifications should include a minimum of 8 to 10 years progressive HR experience or 12 years without MBA. Candidates must have excellent leadership ability necessary to manage a large team, previous management experience preferred. Candidate must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision.
