~Key Elements of the Position~</strong><br />
The Senior Director will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer. <em><strong>This
newly created position</strong> </em>reflects the business need for building a strong,
regionalized recruiting function to serve the Washington
/ Montana
region. Providence
clearly values its talent and will support the Senior Director in building a
best in class recruiting function. <br />
<br />
The Senior Director will function in both strategic and consultative roles,
partnering with the business to identify and define current and future
workforce needs, including ongoing forecasting for attrition, and changing
market conditions. Providence
will look to this position to identify and implement new strategies and
programs in response to the regional needs. Some of these programs will be
geared towards acquiring in demand talent within a highly competitive industry.
Additionally, the Senior Director will be responsible for identifying and
assessing existing internal best practices and developing a plan to implement
the processes / programs throughout the region. <br />

The Senior Director will have a collaborative matrix relationship for all
sourcing and recruiting within in the region. Initially, they will be
responsible for the direct management of two recruiters and a regional
&ldquo;Programs&rdquo; function that will include educational and military outreach and
proactive sourcing. This position will have the opportunity to blend, build and
develop a team that is competent, professional, responsive to customers, and
highly motivated to achieve/exceed objectives. <br />
<br />
<strong>~Key Responsibilities~</strong>
</p>
<ul>
	<li>Lead and manage all talent acquisition efforts to support
	the hiring of 5,000 plus employees per year.</li>
	<li>Design and implement a cohesive talent acquisition
	strategy to support the region&rsquo;s strategic and growth initiatives, including
	strategies to differentiate Providence
	from all the other companies recruiting for the same top talent.</li>
	<li>Create and implement market awareness initiatives to
	greatly increase Providence&rsquo;s
	visibility within the region.</li>
	<li>Build a staffing function that gives Providence
	a competitive edge in staffing.</li>
	<li>Identify and operationalize best practices as they relate to processes,
	tools, systems, training, and metrics to support and track the success of the
	staffing function, based on internal customer satisfaction.</li>
	<li>Provide strategic talent acquisition direction, staffing expertise, and advice and counsel to
	both human resources and senior management leaders within the organization.</li>
	<li>Effectively develop and communicate the employer brand through all staffing
	communications to ensure the attraction of a high performing workforce.</li>
	<li>Build and/or develop a team that is competent, professional, responsive to
	customers, and highly motivated to achieve/exceed objectives. </li>
</ul>

<strong>
~Background Required~</strong>
</p>
<ul>
	<li>
	10 years experience in a similar role with demonstrated results in both a
	centralized and decentralized talent acquisition program capable of proactively
	generating a continual pipeline of qualified candidates.</li>
	<li>Experience running a sourcing/recruiting function for a multi-site company. </li>
	<li>Demonstrated understanding of the candidate management processes, including
	the ability to orchestrate a positive candidate experience through the entire
	process.</li>
	<li>Demonstrated success identifying and developing multiple channels to identify
	passive candidates. </li>
	<li>Proven ability to support a dynamic, fast-growth environment.</li>
	<li>Experience establishing credibility and working relationships at the
	management level. </li>
	<li>A proven track record of recruiting exceptional talent and meeting the
	staffing needs of an organization in a competitive market. </li>
	<li>Ability to develop and maintain meaningful hiring metrics. </li>
	<li>Experience with a broad range of recruiting methodologies including the
	implementation of internal sourcing capabilities, direct sourcing, networking,
	professional organizations, internet and referrals. </li>
	<li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Masters degree
	desirable. The ideal candidate will have an education that matches a
	well-educated and smart customer base. </li>
</ul>
