<strong><u>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</u></strong><br />
&middot; Performs a variety of functions supporting the recruitment of quality candidates to fill a variety of positions. <br />
&middot; Sources potential candidates through a variety of methods. Screens potential applicants for qualifications as compared to job requirements. <br />

Designs, directs and implements the Private Wealth Management recruitment process. We are seeking an experienced professional to act as an ambassador for Baird. This position is responsible for the quality and effectiveness of the talent acquisition process and implementation of strategies to identify, attract and hire all levels of Financial Advisors and their teams. The PWM Acquisition Manager will partner and build effective relationships at all levels in the firm, including Regional Directors, Market Managers and Branch Office Managers and other business unit leaders to ensure an efficient and successful recruitment process. This individual will be involved in the on boarding of FA and FA teams. <br />
<br />
<strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong><br />
<br />
1. Manages all aspects of the recruiting process consistent with the firm&rsquo;s brand, commitment to diversity and focus on development and success of teams.<br />
<br />
2. Manages home office visit including development and coordination of FA profile and psychological assessment. Serves as an advisor in conjunction with PWM Products and Services, Best Practices, etc. to ensure candidate&rsquo;s agenda is appropriate. Attends networking functions with the candidates. <br />
<br />
3. Conducts interviews, where appropriate, and provides coaching and training to hiring managers and home office associates with respect to the interview process and candidate assessment. Ensures candidates compliance and regulatory history prior to home office visit.<br />

4. Works with National Director of Branch Development to manage all aspects of candidate closing to include implementing and coordinating the candidates deal, confirming details of the final offer, following up with recruit after initial offer and manages all follow up activities of recruit.<br />

5. Identifies and enhances firm&rsquo;s visibility and reputation in targeted competitive markets. Shares and learns best practices to maintain our competitive status and to continue to position Baird as an employer of choice. Maintains a library of competitive information (i.e. industry specific current events, competitor pay plans, etc.)<br />

6. Analyzes evaluations from interviewers and makes recommendations to Branch Office Managers and Sales Management.<br />
<br />
7. Works with PWM Senior Recruiting Officer to ensure the utilization of all candidate sourcing tools including: associate referrals, direct sourcing, personal networking, internet/Baird website postings, print media, organization affiliations as well as outside research firms. Negotiates contracts/fee arrangements. Reports cost structure (i.e. fees, contracts, manpower, etc.) and makes recommendations regarding the current sourcing options.<br />

8. Manages all aspects of marketing related recruiting materials. This includes: recruiting related correspondence, brochures, presentation materials, candidate communication and deals.<br />

9. Works closely with the Transition Team Manager to ensure a smooth transition of the FA(s) business to the firm. <br />

10. Identifies and analyzes recruiting results such as volume of interviews, home office visits, acceptances, declined offers, etc. Reviews, approves and periodically presents results in report form to Sales Management quarterly and in an annual summary.<br />

11. Develops and manages recruiting tracking system that provides timely feedback to Sales Management regarding recruiting results and pipeline. Delegates, where appropriate, to PWM Assistants.<br />

<strong>QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:</strong><br />

1. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Human Resources or Finance preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of prior industry-related or recruiting management experience in a team environment is ideal.<br />

2. Ability to build and establish relationships quickly and works effectively with all levels across the firm. Have strong collaboration and negotiation skills with proven credibility and on boarding success. <br />
<br />
3. Exceptional organizational skills, ability to establish priorities, manage deadlines, delegate appropriately, and proactively follow-up and follow through. Demonstrated success with individual time management as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.<br />
<br />
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including a high level of confidence with presentations, strong project management skills and advanced writing capabilities.<br />
<br />
5. Adheres to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality on matters requiring discretion.<br />
<br />
6. Demonstrated ability to handle a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency. Must have a comfort level with handling short deadlines and changing priorities.<br />

7. Ability to travel.<br />

This position will interface and provide executive staffing consultation to Microsoft&rsquo;s Law and Corporate Affairs leadership team, driving staffing strategy and owning recruiting for a range of senior/ complex/ critical corporate positions. Microsoft&rsquo;s Law and Corporate Affairs (LCA) organization is a diverse team of professionals focused on a simply stated mission: To earn, day after day, the public's trust and build our company's enduring value. In addition to paralegals and attorneys, the LCA team includes professionals in areas such as government affairs, community affairs, intellectual property and licensing, corporate governance and compliance, and global citizenship. This position will drive specialized staffing programs with a strong emphasis on acquiring diverse talent, to address the unique needs of this client organization. This position will work with internal and external partners such as central sourcing, agencies, research companies, as well as handle direct sourcing to meet the staffing plan. Previous executive search, internal staffing strategy management, and demonstrable success in executive relationship management are required.<br />

Primary responsibilities include:<br />
Team Management <br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Manage a small team of 1-3 direct reports including contingent staff and vendor relationships.<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop a respectful, team-oriented work environment focused on exceeding client expectations.<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Provide feedback, mentorship and guidance to direct reports for career path planning and execution of daily responsibilities.<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Collaborate with CBHR staffing managers to develop and deliver on shared goals and budget targets, participating fully in team management forums. Ensure team makes solid business decisions regarding candidate costs including approving candidate offers as appropriate. <br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Monitor metrics, budgets and other indicators to ensure success.<br />

Staffing consultation<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop, drive and execute comprehensive search strategies designed to recruit senior and niche candidates in limited candidate spaces including driving a business plan which is geared at building competitive research, finding diverse talent pools, industry profile development, networking and direct sourcing.<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Own executive searches for LCA including sourcing, offering and closing of senior and executive candidates with special emphasis on LCA executive engagement and account management. <br />
<br />
Requirements:<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;BA/BS degree in business, communications, human resources or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience: 6-9 years of related Recruiting experience preferably serving the legal community. <br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrated success in all aspects of team leadership, including a passion for developing internal talent, preferably in a staffing organization. <br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Deep understanding of talent acquisition and its relationship to talent management internally<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Passion for placing senior candidates, preferably within the professional services area.<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Impeccable account management skills with specific emphasis on executive communication skills, strategic thinking and responsiveness.
