We engage experienced and motivated recruiters to support our clients on a contract hourly basis and we can offer opportunities to work virtually and to the schedule that suits you. Specific TasksAs a Consultant for Orchard you will be expected to familiarize yourself with our recruiting methodology and approach within the first week of joining the team. You will be expected to adopt the Orchard approach in your work with our clients to ensure a consistent experience. You will meet virtually or in person with key stakeholders within the first 7 days of the engagement so as to understand the culture of the organizations you are supporting. Depending on your role, you will either work as our sole representative to a client or within a team; you may also range across more than one client. In any such circumstances, you will execute the work with professionalism and integrity. We pride ourselves on performing as the virtual extension of our client companies, therefore you will represent yourself as the client’s recruiting function and place the same priority of quality hires as you would in a corporate recruiting position. Speed to offer is very important to us, however quality of hire trumps everything and ensures our clients continue to use us. If you are the sole resource or account manager for an engagement, you will be expected to provide the client weekly activity reports in the Orchard format and ensure you engage with hiring stakeholders to both understand current activity and help identify further opportunities to extend or expand the engagement. You will conduct your searches leveraging our tools as well as any personal networks you may have, and if available, those of the client company. All the candidates you surface while billing on an engagement beyond your personal network are to be treated as the confidential property of the client company and Orchard Talent. All work in searching for talent for our clients will be conducted with the highest ethical integrity (we do not ruse call or misrepresent our services) and in compliance with both the letter and intent of all applicable laws pertaining to fair and equal hiring practices; where required you will ensure all OFCCP requirements are met. Orchard retains consultants on a project by project basis; that said, we also look to establish lasting relationships with great recruiting talent and are happy to roll consultants from project to project as the work and the consultant’s interest/availability permits.
