Senior Director Regional Talent Acquisition

~About the Company~

In 1856, the Sisters of Providence formed the Providence ministry with a
spirit of collaboration and commitment to working with all whom they served.
Built on that foundation of providing service, compassion and care, Providence
Health & Services now operates 27 acute care facilities, more than 35
non-acute facilities, physician clinics, a health plan, liberal arts
university, a high school, 47,000 employees and numerous other housing and
education services.

Recognizing that legacy and visionary leadership are not mutually exclusive, Providence is
intentionally building a world class health care organization at every level. Providence has recently
completed defining a system-wide initiative engaging operational and clinical
leaders to exceed national clinical standards in all of their hospitals. One of
the first quality initiatives is a single combined benchmarking tool to
collect, analyze and identify opportunities for improvement in patient care
throughout the system.

~Corporate Culture~
The mission statement captures the spirit of what it means to be a part of
today’s Providence while reflecting a continued commitment to what began in
1856: “As People of Providence, we reveal God’s love for all, especially the
poor and vulnerable, through our compassionate service.”

This is a highly energized, fast paced, involved, and committed culture, with a
sense of humor and camaraderie that is contagious. The Human Resources
management team is dedicated to their vision of a strategic function combined
with the realities of dealing with day to day activities, all within the
culture that is true to its mission.

~Key Elements of the Position~
The Senior Director will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer. This
newly created position reflects the business need for building a strong,
regionalized recruiting function to serve the Washington
/ Montana
region. Providence
clearly values its talent and will support the Senior Director in building a
best in class recruiting function.

The Senior Director will function in both strategic and consultative roles,
partnering with the business to identify and define current and future
workforce needs, including ongoing forecasting for attrition, and changing
market conditions. Providence
will look to this position to identify and implement new strategies and
programs in response to the regional needs. Some of these programs will be
geared towards acquiring in demand talent within a highly competitive industry.
Additionally, the Senior Director will be responsible for identifying and
assessing existing internal best practices and developing a plan to implement
the processes / programs throughout the region.
