		<description><![CDATA[One of our clients, a manufacturing company, has an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Staffing Manager in their Northwest Houston office. The Staffing Manager will have client responsibilities for the Americas Region. The incumbent will work with the business and HR leadership to implement Strategies, processes and systems to improve the company&rsquo;s HR recruitment function and strengthen HR&rsquo;s role as a business partner. Specific areas of responsibility also include development and implementation of a staffing strategy, university relations, negotiating and communicating preferred vendor relationships, requisition process management and improvement, recruiting and interviewing, coaching, legal and internal policy compliance, and providing a high level of customer service and focus in order to maintain long term improvements and internal customer satisfaction.<br />

<strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><br />

As a Senior Staffing Consultant for Genentech's Development organization, this position will be a trusted partner with senior management in the recruitment of talent to the company. The incumbent will consult with managers in the definition of their openings and develop an appropriate recruiting strategy, and will implement creative sourcing strategies as needed for difficult to fill positions. This position will utilize, update and maintain the applicant tracking database. He/she will educate managers on legal implications in hiring. This individual will develop and maintain relationships with external professional organizations, including those affiliated with diversity outreach, utilizing external relationships as resources for sourcing. The incumbent will coordinate placement of ads and coordinate activities with ad agencies. This position will coach managers in providing feedback to candidates, developing offers, determining competencies and coordinating and training the interview team. He/she will perform executive recruiting, including identifying appropriate Contingency or Retained Search firms, maintaining relationships and partnering to ensure that candidates are interviewed expeditiously. The incumbent will conduct interviews using in-depth behavioral and skills assessment techniques, and will attend job fairs, conferences and networking events. This position will also conduct intact Talent Selection training and job profiling sessions with the client group.&nbsp;

The candidate must have a minimum of five years of recruiting experience, with clinical or drug development recruiting experience in the biotech or pharma industry. Senior Staffing Manager provides strategic and tactical leadership to a group
of experienced recruiters in the staffing organization for assigned technology
groups. Works with employees and managers at all levels to ensure that we have
