The ideal Search Associate is a master of recruiting rock star candidates. You are smart, educated, and capable of contributing to strategy aimed at getting to the right candidate in the shortest possible time. You are upbeat and high energy, and enjoy powering through tasks with a deadline sensibility.  You are positive and passionate about business: you track the daily news for opportunistic advantage. Moreover, you completely "get" candidate tracking databases and other software aimed at helping make you work more efficiently.  Not only that,  you enjoy real-time human contact. You never hesitate to pick up the phone  -- cold calling candidates,sources, and potential clients. And while you are capable of working independently, you prefer a team approach to tackling search assignments.

• Identifying and profiling passive candidates.
• Entering data into candidate tracking database. Continually correcting and updating database information.
• Writing biographies, intelligence reports, and search summary documents. 
• Developing and screening candidates for availability, interest level, visa status, salary range, relocation needs, basic qualifications.
• Developing new clients and building out business with existing clients.
• Partnering with other recruiters to generate ideas, leverage resources and share information that facilitates an effective search process.
• Enhancing skills through ongoing professional training and development.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree.
• 2-5 years of recruiting experience
• Experience working in candidate tracking system(s) and business software a must.
• Versed in Internet research, Boolean Logic, AIRS training or similar.
• Exceptional communication, organizational and problem-solving skills. Special consideration given to bilingual applicants.
• Proven team player with ability to maintain strong relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, business partners, and candidates.
• Strong business acumen to be able to comprehend business needs and organizational structure.
• Ability to track relevant business news to leverage it to our advantage in our search practice.
• Special consideration given to candidates living in the DC area, Houston or Dallas, or other business hubs.
• Special consideration given applicants with federal government/federal contractor industry experience, energy/oil/gas industry experience, and health care industry experience.
